Project Background
Ford Motor Company (FMC) is one of the biggest automotive company in the world. FMC is broken to two main brands - Ford and Lincoln. We were tasked with curating a presentation for the Chinese and global media, highlighting the vision for China by all three companies - FMC, Ford and Lincoln.
Solution
We created a special one hour show using an immersive LED theatre stage. We broke the show down in three key speaker segments with a car reveal as the finale. Each brand was given a unique design to complement their brand styles. The car reveal had a high energy entrance before a photo call rounded the live show off with a view of the Shanghai skyline behind.
My Role
I created three distinct visual directions for FMC, Ford and Lincoln. I used a similar graphic pattern for FMC and Ford, and a different graphic pattern for Lincoln to make it distinct.
For the reveal of the Escape ST-Line, we darkened out the screen and used a strobe lighting style to draw the attention of the viewers, at this point the secret door would begin to open and then a burst of light would illuminate the new car as it drove on.
